Leading Lotus colloboration with Colorado Leadership Foundation And Alliance Summit

This is the second year Leading Lotus has volunteered for the Colorado Leadership Alliance Mentors walk. Students work on skills that build confidence and their own leadership style while connecting with Professionals during the Mentors Walk at the annual CLA Summit in January, sharing lessons learned.

In 2018, Uma mentored Sabrina Jain, the University of Denver's Student Leader of the Year. The connections proved valuable for the mentor and for the student leader. Learn more about Sabrina Jain here: http://denverleadership.org/university-denvers-sabrina-jain-named-student-leader-year/

In 2019, Uma was re-invited to the Mentors walk for two highly humble and intelligent undergraduates, Jeff Erickson and Maddy Grawler.

The Leadership Foundation helps emerging and recognized leaders expand their skills, enhance their knowledge of local and state issues, and leverage their individual passions to make positive changes in our community. Through a range of leadership programs that provide exclusive opportunities for access, dialogue, and issues-based education, the Leadership Foundation enhances individual, career and professional growth while creating significant value for participating companies.

The Colorado Leadership Alliance unites collegiate leadership programs from across Colorado, exposing students to community issues outside their campus at an annual summit and connecting program directors to share best practices.

We had a blast this weekend at the #CLA2019 Summit!

Thanks to our sponsors: Boettcher Foundation, Daniels Fund & El Pomar Foundation and to all the student leaders and mentors who joined us on Saturday.

Uma Gopaldass: It's an honor to be invited as a respected leader and trust that our young undergraduates will benefit from my experience. Truly an honor.
